Developer Workstation Requirements

To run .netSavant on your development workstation you'll need to have the following installed:

• Visual Studio.NET 2005/2008 (excluding express editions)
• .NET Framework version 3.5

Note: Versions of Visual Studio earlier than 2005 nor any of the express editions of Visual Studio are supported by .netSavant.

Deployment Environment Requirements

Code generated by .netSavant will require at least one of the following to be installed in your production or deployment environment.

• .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1
• .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1
• .NET Framework 3.5

Code generated by .netSavant makes use of both generics and certain enumeration values only available in the 2.0 SP1 or higher framework release. Even if the 2.0 Framework is installed on the target machine it MUST be patched to Service Pack 1 for your application to work properly.
